Antonin Dvorak is one of the most celebrated composers of Eastern Europe. His contribution in European movies and music is legendary. He was one of the pioneers of Czech classic music. He was influenced by rural Slavic and Moravian traditional dance numbers. One of his most celebrated works is the “Dumky Trio”. Cello, violin, and piano are the only three instruments used in this exquisite chamber music. He was famous for his operas that incorporated traditional Slavic dances and choral works as well. Apart from that, he also composed chamber music and piano music.

Antonin Dvorak is a celebrated artist among the Czech people to this day, and in Prague, you can visit many sites related to this amazing Czech Composer. Dvorak museum is one of those historic sites that you can visit on the Prague walking tour. It is a small museum, and many of his belongings are a part of the exhibitions. It also houses an exquisite concert room on its lower floor, and this museum is housed in a suburban villa from the 18th century. There is a souvenir shop located inside the museum too, just in case you decide to commemorate the memory of the famed Czech composer. The visiting hours are not that restrictive, as it is open from 10 am to 5 pm with a short break of 30 minutes for the museum staff.
