The Chapeau Rouge

A Prague club that has probably seen one of the next most International residents than the Czech Republic airports, the Chapeau Rouge is a night club and a bar that could be found just off the Old Town Square. As it is, this square is known quite well for being able to take you back in time by 500 years or so. The magnificent churches and other constructions there actually do not give you the idea that a bar may be situated in the same place. However, this music bar does exist, a Czech glory and favorite.

Heard from many individuals who have visited the Chapeau Rouge, this place has a big 1990s feel. Consisting of 3 levels of space, this bar is seen being paid a quick visit by all of those people who enjoy and relish that 90s vibe. It is no news that there were tons of bars and nightclubs that began starting during that same era. Just like those bars, the first level of the Chapeau Rouge is seen playing music the entire day, providing you the chance to groove to it with a smoke and a drink in both hands. Only when it gets dark outside, you could find louder music that will have you wishing to party hard and crazy, as you slip into the second and the third level of this place.

Along with having several mixtures of drinks that consist of Red Bull, this Prague club also indulges in fine wines, which is a delight for all the mature drinkers. This place also sells Czech beers that are not as overpriced, as seen in other bars around the Czech Republic.

To get to the Chapeau Rouge, all you are required to do is take the public, line B metro from the Namesti Republiky station. Otherwise, feel free to hop onto tram number 5, 8, 24, 26, 51, 54 or 56 from the exact same station. If you are looking for just a piece of the night life of the Czech, or just things to see in Prague, the Chapeau Rouge could be your next stop.
